Yacht tour program

Day 1

Olbia – Golfo Aranci

Arrival at the airport of Olbia. All participants get by ordered transfer to the yachts of the marina (from 4 people) or by public transport.

We check into the yacht around 18:00.

The participants of the tour make a joint purchase of products, the captain conducts a safety briefing and, depending on the time, we either stay overnight in the marina or go to the sea to the parking “under the stars” in the Golfo Aranci bay.

In the meantime, while there is free time, we recommend that you get to know Olbia better, as it is a small town in the north of Sardinia, which is rightfully considered the main gate of the island.

The port of Olbia is constantly visited by ferries from the mainland, tourists arrive at the international airport seeking to explore the Emerald Coast of the Costa Smeralda.

In the historical center of the city, many old buildings and churches from both the Roman Empire and the later Middle Ages have been preserved. Attention is drawn to the remains of the medieval city walls “Civita – Terra Nova” scattered in the center and Roman baths.

From religious monuments, we recommend paying attention to the basilica in honor of the heavenly patron of Olbia, San Simplicio, built in the 12th century. The second famous church is St. Paul on top of a hill on Cagliari Street.
You can enjoy the evening coolness and relax from the hustle and bustle in the largest Fausto Noce park in Sardinia, located right in the city center.

Well, for shopping and good mood, it is better to go to the port, where all kinds of city fairs are organized on warm summer evenings. The central street of Corso Umberto will also please you with good shopping.

As in other cities along the coast, in restaurants in Olbia you can often find dishes from various seafood. Especially popular is the Lobster Catalan Style lobster, which can be tasted at Le Caravella.

For fish cuisine, we recommend going to Osteria del Mare and La Palma restaurants. If you want to try something with a purely local flavor, check out the restaurants Gallura, Barbagia.

Day 2

Golfo Aranci – Porto Rotondo – Porto Cervo

In the morning we set off towards Porto Rotondo. On the way we make a stop for swimming.

The Italian bay of Porto Rotondo is famous for its sights and marinas with expensive beautiful yachts.

The city is framed by a round embankment, and this peculiarity lies in the name Rotondo (round). It is often compared to Venice, only it is presented in miniature.

The most beautiful architectural structure of the island is the Church of San Lorenzo.

Next to it, there is a bell tower with 35 steps, on which you can climb up, with the feeling that you are heading to the sky.

We also recommend taking a walk around Piazza San Marco. It is the cultural center of Porto Rotondo, where various recreational activities are held. Also, this square is a dream of shopaholics, because there are many boutiques and shops, restaurants and picturesque cozy houses in the Sardinian style.

Moving on to our next location, Porto Cervo, the centerpiece of the legendary Costa Smeralda (Emerald Coast).

This is one of the most popular resorts in Italy, where rich and famous people relax. Every year, sailing regattas are held here, in which representatives of different European countries take part.

The most unusual building in the area is the Stella Maris church, created in the style of the famous architect Gaudí. Its design impresses with original forms that create a sophisticated appearance. The name of the shrine is translated as “Starfish”.

All over the world there are no more beautiful beaches than Porto Cervo. The water in the coastal zone has an amazing emerald hue that shimmers under the rays of the sun. One of the popular places in the resort is Licia Rosa beach. This is the longest recreation area on the Mediterranean coast. This is truly a heavenly place!

As for the local cuisine, it is here that you can try any delicious dish, because the restaurants of Porto Cervo can impress even the most experienced gourmets with something new.

An endless variety of fresh seafood dishes, pastas and pizzas from famous chefs are a must-try at Il Pescatore, La Pergola, Il Pomodoro and La Terrazza restaurants. If you prefer meat dishes, enjoy traditional masterpieces at the Esmeralda Churrascaria restaurant.
We stay here for the night.

Day 3

Porto Servo – Cala Berretta – La Madalena

After breakfast, our route continues to Cala Berretta.

This place is located on the island of Caprera, which belongs entirely to the national park of the La Maddalena archipelago, its territory and water area are included in the protected area.

Cala Berreta is an amazing beach with water as blue as the sky. After swimming in abundance, we move on to the island of La Maddalena.

La Maddalena is the largest city of the largest island of the Maddalena archipelago, famous for its beautiful beaches and national park.

The high content of granite and porphyry has determined the indented nature of the coasts of the island, which are often difficult to get close to. However, it is precisely in these complex outlines that most of its beauty lies: curves and bays, from where breathtaking panoramas open up.

Great walks await you along the cobbled streets of the historic center, where you can see the houses of the 13th century buildings and the ancient church of Santa Maria Maddalena.

The town, surrounded by fortifications, at any time of the year gives its guests the opportunity to admire the entire archipelago. Definitely one of the most beautiful cities in Sardinia, this town is often referred to as “Little Paris”

It will be interesting here for beach lovers and divers: a large number of underwater caves and grottoes.
Here we will stay for the night.

Day 4

La Madalena – Pink Beach – Du Petit Sperone

Our journey continues and we continue on through the La Maddalena archipelago, to the island of Budelli to the extraordinary place “Pink Beach”!

In general, it is known as “Spiaggia Rosa”, which means “Pink Beach” in Italian.

Its pink color comes from a microorganism called Miniacina Miniacea or Pink Miniacina, which is easily visible to the naked eye and can be seen as a series of small, branched organisms of intense pink color.

It is especially common in the Mediterranean, although it can be found elsewhere. Budelli Island and its beach are famous for their appearance in films such as Michelangelo Antonioni’s Red Desert.

We swim, take pictures and go to the island of Corse to the beach “De’pety Speron”. Overnight.

Day 5

Du Petit Sperone Beach – Bonifacio

Wake up, sunbathe and go to the incredible city of Bonifacio.

Bonifacio is undoubtedly the most beautiful city in Corsica and one of the most impressive cities in France. This city with houses hanging on a sheer cliff, right above the sea, looks fantastic, especially from the water.

Here you will find incredibly beautiful nature, cozy streets of the old town, excellent Corsican wines.

The village, surrounded by white limestone walls, is divided into the Lower Town with a harbor, from where excursions depart and where there are many restaurants on the waterfront and the Upper Town, with its bastion and narrow picturesque streets.

The upper town is surrounded by a medieval wall and is very small, so it’s easy to get around on foot. From the pass of St. Goda, where you can climb the stairs from the harbor, you can walk to Cape Pertusato, admiring the picturesque indented coasts and the turquoise sea.

Near Bonifacio there are magnificent beaches, especially the beautiful shell-shaped Rodindara beach, located 10 kilometers to the north. Even further north, along the main road of Porto-Vecchio, there are the beaches of Santa Giulia and Palombaggia, comparable to those of the Maldives.

When you get hungry and want to try something from the local cuisine, we recommend Bonifacio’s specialty – aubergines à la Bonifacienne (stuffed eggplant) – it’s very tasty, even for those who are indifferent to vegetables.

Such eggplants can be found, apparently, in most restaurants in the city. And, of course, do not forget to taste Corsican wines: nearby are the vineyards of Sartene, whose varieties produce some of the best wines of the island.

We spend the whole day and night in the city.

Day 6

Bonifacio – Santa Maria – Golfo Delle Saline

New day, new adventures. We leave Bonifacio for the island of Santa Maria.

It hosts the amazing beach of Cala Santa Maria (the island is the northernmost of the jewel islands that make up the Maddalena Archipelago National Park, in the extreme northeast of Sardinia), it consists of very fine, white sand from a crystalline and unpolluted sea rich in marine fauna.

Two hundred meters long, this is the largest beach in the entire archipelago. Its shallow and sandy bottom, leaning towards the open sea, forms an excellent natural pool.

The bay is surrounded by pink cliffs covered with Mediterranean greenery.

Beyond the bay stretches brackish Marsh Lake, home to numerous species of waterfowl: woodcocks, chickens, rump.

After plenty of walking, we continue the route to Golfo delle Salina, a small bay with crystal turquoise water, in a natural place among the mountains. Here we stay for the night.

Day 7

Golfo Delle Saline – Cala Petra Ruja – Olbia

Our next location today will be Cala Petra Ruja beach.

It brings together the two “souls” of the Costa Smeralda, as it is both glamorous and pristine: in fact, it is considered the “wildest” beach of an emblematic place on the island for luxury tourism.

But Petr Rouge has another feature that its name indicates, which means “red stone”: it is dotted with granite rocks and pebbles, tending to be red.

Яхт тур Сардиния – Корсика
Яхт тур Сардиния – Корсика

The beach, about 250 meters long, is located in a bay, bounded by two capes that define its crescent shape.

White soft sand, and the sea will surprise you with its transparency and iridescent hues, from soft blue to turquoise, shimmering through the shimmering greenery typical of the Emerald Coast.

Before 17:00-18:00 we should arrive at the yacht marina of Olbia, where we will have a farewell party and the last night on board the yacht.

Day 8

Olbia – flight home

At 9:00, we leave the yacht and drive to the airport with a bunch of unforgettable emotions, a phone filled with beautiful photos and a little sadness that our sea trip is over.

Nevertheless, we look forward to seeing you on your next yacht tour!

The tour program can be adjusted, and the sequence of locations along the route can be changed by the decision of the captain in accordance with weather conditions.

Our board: Sailing catamaran Lagoon 42 (2023)

This week you will spend on board a comfortable and spacious catamaran that can accommodate up to 10 people (including the crew). On board there are 4 double cabins, 4 separate bathrooms, and a large kitchen with everything you need and a dining area.
