Itinerary: Eden Yacht Marina (Mahe isl.) – National Park St. Anna (3 NM – 30 minutes)
Arriving from the airport to the yacht marina, the yacht is accepted, the tour participants get acquainted with the crew and a joint trip for groceries to local supermarkets. After that, we check in on the yacht and the captain will conduct a detailed safety briefing.
We recommend arriving on the island a few days before the departure of the yacht in order to have time to admire all the beauty of the island of Mahe, Creole architecture and taste the local cuisine. This is the largest island in the archipelago, famous for its beautiful beaches, Seychelles Morne Park with incredible rainforests and mountain peaks.
After the yacht has been accepted and provisions are loaded, we begin our journey through St. Anne’s National Park, where you can swim in crystal clear waters and enjoy the rich marine life. In this protected area and stop for the first night.
Day 2
Route: St. Anna – La Digue Marina (La Dig isl.) (28 Nm 3.5 hours)
We continue our journey to the famous island of La Dig Marina. This place is the most popular picture on Pinterest with amazingly shaped rocks, among which Nide d’Aigle rises majestically. Elephant turtles live in the bays of the island – one of the largest turtles on the planet. On the island itself there are incredible coconut plantations. The sand here has a pink hue, which makes its beaches very beautiful. In a word, this is a paradise for relaxation and incredible photos.
For outdoor enthusiasts, you can rent bicycles and arrange a bike tour around the island.
Day 3
Itinerary: La Digue Marina (La Dig isl.) – Cocos isl. – Grande Soeur (5 NM – 1 hour)
After visiting the island of La Dig and enjoying the local beauty, we approach the Cocos Islands, which are famous for their ideal conditions for surfing, diving and luxurious coconut plantations. On the coconut islands you can see a beautiful coastal coral reef and meet tropical butterflies, sea turtles, rare species of birds and bats.
Our next stop is the highlight of the tour, the private island of Grande Soeur – fabulous, mesmerizing with the beauty of its beaches and green lawns. It cannot be described in words, you need to see it with your own eyes, so we will stay here for the night.
Day 4
Route: Grande Soeur – St. Pierre – Praslin (12 NM – 2 hours)
We leave the island of Grande Soeur and continue our journey to the island of Praslin with a stop at St. Pierre is the perfect miniature deserted island in the middle of the ocean, considered one of the best snorkeling spots in the Seychelles. Our catamaran has the necessary snorkeling equipment on board, so you can explore the underwater world of this place if you wish.
Praslin Island is another amazing island in the Seychelles archipelago. Known for rich fauna. You can meet rare birds on the island, in particular the black parrot and the Seychellois bulbul. Fantastic coral reefs are located off the coast of the island, which invariably attracts divers from all over the world. Here are the best conditions for swimming and sea sports.
Day 5
Itinerary: Praslin – Curieuse Island – Anse Lazio (9 NM – 2 hours)
From Praslin Island we take a taxi to the Valle de Mai National Park.
A real jungle awaits you, it is here that the Coco de Mer sea nut / coconut grows – the symbol of the Seychelles, and the palm tree with its fruits is depicted on the coat of arms of the country. If you want to bring an unusual souvenir from the islands, then you can buy such a nut (the price is from 200 to 600 euros and depends on the shape and size), which has the appropriate certification.
Entrance to the park is paid – 350 Seychelles rupees (about 25 euros). Payment is possible in Seychelles Rupees, Euros, Dollars, cash or credit card.
Next we head to Curieuse Island. This is a small island of granite structure, famous for its rich marine life and mango groves. In its bays, you can meet a cone-fronted parrot fish, which often reaches 12 meters in size, as well as a whole camp of sea turtles. There are grills on the beaches of this island, if there are skilled fishermen on board of our catamaran, then the sea catch can be cooked right on the beach.
Another historical attraction of this island is the Doctor’s House – a villa built in the colonial style. In the 19th century, this island was a place of exile for lepers: the island still has the ruins of a leper colony where they were treated.
Overnight at anchor.
Day 6
Itinerary: Anse Lazio – Cousine island – Mahe/Beau Vallon Beach (26 NM – 4.5 hours)
We promised you a tropical paradise, so our next location is Anse Lazio the best beach in Praslin. Huge, spacious, with drooping palm trees, fine white sand and clear turquoise water – all the details are like from the Bounty advertisement.
The next island is no less amazing – Cousin Island, at first glance, as if uninhabited, and despite the infrastructure of hotel villas located there, nature remains completely virgin. The beauty of the local palette of colors is simply dizzy.
We will stop here for the night at anchor, under the starry sky.
Day 7
Route: Beau Vallon Beach – National Park St. Anna ‐ Eden Yacht Marina (Mahe isl.) (12 NM – 2 hours)
We return to the National Park of St. Anne, which in general covers 6 small islands of the archipelago. This is a natural marine paradise, where you can get to know the inhabitants by diving directly into its depths.
After passing the nature reserve, our final stop is the island of Mahe, at Eden Yacht Marina.
Day 8
Itinerary: Eden Yacht Marina (Mahe isl.)
In the morning at 9.00 delivery of the yacht (check-out). Departure to the home airport according to the schedule.
If you still have extra time before your flight, we recommend exploring Mahe Island.
In addition to the colossal natural environment, on the island of Mahe is the capital of the Seychelles – Victoria. There you can get acquainted with the local architecture, taste delicious traditional Creole cuisine and visit the beautiful orchid garden.
There is also a large village of artisans on the island, where you can get acquainted with the work of local craftsmen and buy souvenirs. Mahé not only brings together unique natural sites, beautiful beaches and great diving sites, but also an incomparable cultural heritage.
