Rental of yachts and boats in Port Lazur - we choose adventures!

Montenegro is a small but quite interesting country. Here you can distinguish the northeastern part, which is the mountains, and the southwestern part - the Adriatic coast.

If you have come on vacation to one of the local sea resorts (Budva, Kotor, Tivat, Herceg-Novi), we recommend that you use the yacht rental service.

Lazur - a small marina located in the town of Herceg Novi near the entrance to the Bay of Kotor, will be a great starting point. From here, during the day, you can visit several of the most interesting places at once, both in the bay itself and beyond.

Where to go to Montenegro, using yacht rental

So let's take a look at what you can visit in the region with a Lazura yacht charter:

  1. Tivat. A rather large (by local standards) port city, by the way, the airport is also located here. It is full of restaurants, bars and discos. Exhibitions and festivals are often held in Tivat, there is a good infrastructure. Tivat is definitely worth visiting for a foreign tourist.
  2. Donya Lastva. This small town with cute houses and cozy gardens is a real idyllic Montenegrin paradise. Here you can rest quietly and peacefully at the foot of the Vrmac mountain, enjoying the wonderful views of the surrounding area. There are also two medieval churches in Donja Lastva, one of which is over 1,000 years old.
  3. Prchan. If you like aesthetic views and quiet rest, Prčany is what you need. The town is literally drawn from a postcard and everything is covered with greenery. Here it will be pleasant to walk along the embankment in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. In addition, in Prčany you will find a large temple of the 18th century, one of the largest in the region.
  4. Which It is this city that gave its name to the entire bay, it cannot be bypassed. The city center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the top 10 must-see places in the Adriatic. The fortress walls and most of the houses in the historic center are still preserved here, and it is also full of various temples, restaurants, shops and crowds of cats.

Choose a suitable vessel

In any case, you will have to choose your ship for the cruise. In any marina, you will have at least a dozen boats to choose from.

Here are some tips on how to choose the right yacht for charter:

Choosing a suitable vessel
Things to keep in mind when chartering a yacht

Vessel type

You choose not only by size, but also by type of vessel:
  • Sailing yachts. This is the easiest and most budget option, while they are able to give you unforgettable emotions from a sailing sea cruise;
  • Motor yachts. They are able to swim much more and faster than sailboats, so you can plan long voyages. True, you will have to pay for speed with high fuel consumption;
  • Catamarans. Such vessels are much larger than yachts, they are more spacious, and more stable at sea. True, the cost of renting a catamaran will be higher than that of a yacht.

Yacht age

All yachts and catamarans can be conditionally divided into 4 age groups:
  • New (up to 3 years). The most expensive and comfortable.
  • Almost new (under 5 years old). Almost the same as new, but 20% cheaper.
  • Medium (under 10). Almost always worse equipped than new, about 30% cheaper.
  • Older (over 10 years). Worse equipped, less comfortable, about 40% cheaper than new.

When to book

  • The best option for booking is early booking (6 months in advance) during the low season. The difference in price for the same itinerary and boat in high season without advance booking can exceed 50%.

As for the price of renting a yacht or boat Lazur, in the low season it starts from about 300 € for a small yacht per day (the vessel can accommodate 8-10 people), so if you divide the total amount by the number of people, you get about 30 -40€ per person per day. Not so much, right?

The best solution for those who want to rent a yacht in Montenegro is to contact professional consultants. Our managers are well versed in all the features of this issue and will help you quickly choose the best option for you.
